Like every other curious teenager, I used to always want a tattoo. I made the “it’ll be significant and not just for looks” excuse everyone always uses. I ended up backing out and resented the fact that I ever thought of wanting one in the first place.

I don’t mind if other people have tattoos and I don’t judge them for it, but for me, getting one would seem like more of a trend than a mark of significance. If I ever did get one, I’m pretty sure no matter how cool I think it is, in several years when my tastes change, I would have to bear with it every day and start to regret it.

So yeah, getting a tattoo is something I’ll probably never plan on doing. It’s not for me. It was just another silly idea I had when I was younger that fell through because I realized the consequences.
